Daisy Monroy Lopez is a photographer based in Orange County, California. She received her BFA from California State University, Long Beach and her AA in Studio Arts from Santa Ana College.
Daisy utilizes photography as a medium to explore and articulate her evolving perspective on mental health, particularly in relation to depression, social anxiety, familial relationships, identity, and generational trauma. Through her artistic practice, she fosters dialogue with individuals who share similar experiences, cultivating a sense of community and a profound appreciation for the creative process. Her work also reflects a passion for themes of nostalgia and romanticism, often rekindling a childlike sense of wonder and curiosity about the world.
